The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education encompasses the three counties of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby serving 5757 students in twenty-two (22) schools, composed of 13 Elementary Schools, 6 High Schools, 1 Middle School, and 2 Elementary/High Schools.

CASUAL BUS DRIVERS are required for the Tri-County Regional Centre of Education. These positions are on call, as needed basis.

 

 The chosen candidates will be provided with the neccessary bus drivers training in the upcoming month.  

 

Locations:      Digby, Yarmouth, & Shelburne County Schools

 

Required qualifications include:

  • Valid driver’s license (minimum Class 5) with a clear drivers abstract
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all Board Staff
  • Ability to lift 25 kg
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Should be 25 years of age
  • Provide a current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Check

Training will be provided to those successful applicants, which initially includes two weeks of classroom instruction.

 

Salary: As per the CUPE Local 964 Collective Agreement, $22.52/hour.
