Location:  Central Office, 60 Lorne Street, Truro, NS

 

CCRCE is inviting applications for a Term Human Resources Administrator. Reporting to the Coordinator of Human Resources Services, the HR Administrator is responsible for the appropriate and effective management of all human resources transactions. The HR Administrator supervises and leads the team of HR support staff in accurately completing all HR transactions. The HR Administrator works collaboratively as a member of the HR management team and supports other departments with reporting on HR data and FTE information.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience of effectively using complex HRIS including SAP.
  • Human Resources Certificate or equivalent through combination of training and/or experience.
  • Proficient in designing and managing complex HRIS.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience including:
    • Effective communications
    • Coaching
    • Project management
    • Delegation abilities    
  • High degree of proven professionalism and confidentiality
  • High degree of proven accuracy in working with spreadsheets and employee information

 

 

Other Assets

  • HRIS experience within the Nova Scotia Public School System
  • Experience in contract and collective agreement administration.
  • Training and/or experience in effective management
  • CPHR designation
