Introduction The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is implementing a Pre-Primary Program (an inclusive, high quality, play based early learning experience for pre-school age children) in stages across Nova Scotia. The CCRCE is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is for day-to-day work only. |

Minimum Requirements -ECE Level 1 Classification -Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Consideration will be given to applicants who have a minimum of three years experience working with pre-school aged children in an early childhood development setting, and/or applicants who are currently enrolled in a recognized Early Childhood Education program |

Closing Notes - Applicants who hold a Level 1 (or higher) ECE Classification will be paid $16.01/hr - Applicants who do not hold a minimum Level 1 ECE Classification will be paid $15.20/hr Please note, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. You will be required to provide your original Criminal Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Check, and your original Child Abuse Register which will be reviewed in accordance with the CCRCE policies and procedures. |
