A consortium project of the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education, Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education, Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education, Halifax Regional Centre for Education, South Shore Regional Centre for Education, Strait Regional Centre for Education, and Tri-County Regional Centre for Education in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

 

 

POSITION TITLE: Admissions Officer

 

COMPETITION #: 19-07-01

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Admissions Officer works in close collaboration with the Admissions Team, who are responsible for the effective and efficient performance of the NSISP enrollment and placement process by ensuring enrollment strategies and methodologies are in place to support service delivery to all members of the consortium and its clients.

 

REPORTS TO:   Assistant Executive Director of the NSISP

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business/Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of database management and accounting programs
  • Current Nova Scotia driver’s license
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: communication, confidentiality, working effectively with other cultures, organization and document management skills,
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experience in youth programming or international programs, and fluency in other languages are considered assets.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Permanent, 12-month, full-time position. Salary is $ 41,048.80. A satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and a Criminal Record Check, according to NSISP policies and standards, will be required.
