The Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications from Permanent, Probationary and Temporary (Casual) employees currently with Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education as well as outside applicants for the following TERM position:

General Qualifications:

• Minimum of Grade 12 High School Diploma or academic equivalent through educational programs such as a Graduated Equivalent Diploma.  Additional education, including trades training, is an asset.
• Minimum of three (3) years work experience in construction or maintenance fields.
• Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and be willing to drive extensively throughout the applicable Family of Schools.
• Physically able to perform the duties required including significant periods of walking, extended periods of standing, sitting, involves heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and repetitive push/pull motion.
• Experience working in an educational setting.
• Experience in PC application of word processing and spreadsheets an asset.
• Exposure to computer maintenance systems such as SAP is an asset.
• Typical working hours are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, weekdays.

Salary:     As per CUPE contract: $24.44
